Care

Ensure your feeders are healthy by taking care of them properly while you have them. This will provide a healthier meal for your pet. Our feeders are fed a custom high-quality dry powder diet and water crystals to provide safe access to water without drowning. 

Once you purchase your feeders, they are your responsibility to keep healthy! Food and water crystals are complimentary with every order (if applicable).  Detailed care instructions are below.

Crickets - Keep in a very well ventilated container and use egg carton to provide hiding places. Provide dry powder food and water crystals as needed. 

Dubia Roaches - Keep in a well ventilated container and use egg cartons to provide hiding places. Provide dry powder food and water crystals as needed.

Superworms - Do NOT refrigerate!! They are self sufficient in their cups for 2+ weeks.

Mealworms - Keep in moderately cold spot in your refrigerator (ie. the butter door). Do not add food or water to cup as it will mold. For picky eaters, put cold mealworms in a strainer and run warm water on them to get them moving for your pet. 

Wax Worms - Keep in moderately cold spot in your refrigerator (ie. the butter door). Do not add food or water to cup as it will mold. For picky eaters, put cold wax worms in a strainer and run warm water on them to get them moving for your pet.

Hornworms - Self sufficient in cup. Make sure the ventilated side is facing up and open container/dump waste as needed.

Frozen feeders - Your order will come vacuum sealed for maximum freshness. Keep frozen. To thaw, place bag in the fridge overnight and warm up prior to feeding by submerging bag in a bowl of hot water.
